FAQ (
Please read prior to purchase. Thanks!)

1.) All edible images will ship within 1-3 business days.

2.) Please note color pixels can vary based on your computer monitor and image color can vary on icing sheets.

3.) All prints use food coloring that is safe to eat. Please note getting the print sheets wet or using wet hands to apply will cause the print to bleed.

4.) Frosting Sheets will stick directly to the buttercream. Use shortening, buttercream, or edible glue to apply frosting sheets to the fondant. Simply peel the icing sheet off the backing and place it onto the cake!

5.) Edible print sheets are shipped in a food-safe storage bag and should be stored at room temperature. Sheets are good for 6-12 months but should be kept in a non-humid area away from sunlight to prevent fading. Keep away from moisture to prevent sticking.

6.) Edible cake wraps can be used to decorate your cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and other desserts.

7.) ???WHAT IS A FROSTING SHEET???
A frosting sheet is a thin layer of frosting on a plastic backing, which can be printed with edible ink, cut out, and peeled off to be placed on buttercream, dry royal icing, fondant, or other desserts. It provides a much sharper printed image than wafer paper, and sort of “melts” onto whatever it is placed. The frosting sheet size is 8.5x10.5 inches and the images printed on them are 8'' by 10''.

Storage:

Do not refrigerate. Store the frosting sheet flat in the provided zip top bag at room temperature.

Keep out of direct light. Shelf life is around 12 months.

Application Tips:

• Images are best applied to light colored frosting. Dark colored frosting may show through the

thin frosting sheet's design. If the frosting is dark, we suggest applying the frosting sheet onto

a thin piece of fondant to be placed onto the cake.

• Apply the frosting sheet no more than 48 hours prior to the event. Images will fade with too

much moisture. For high moisture frosting, wait to apply as close to serving time as you can,

or back with a thin piece of fondant.

• Do not let water come in contact with the frosting sheet before or after application. Water will

melt the frosting sheet and damage the print.

• If needed, images can be trimmed with the backing still on them with sharp scissors.

• To easily remove the image from the backing, place in the freezer for 1 minute.

• Gently apply the image to the top of the cake from the middle to the edges. Smooth out the

edible image gently, making sure the edges are touching the frosting.

• Add a border or edge decoration to finish it off!

Apply Frosting Sheets To:

• Buttercream - Frosting sheets work best with buttercream frosting.

• Fondant - Apply a thin coating of shortening to the fondant to help the frosting sheet adhere.

• Whipped Cream - Since whipped cream has a high water content, apply the image as close to

serving time as possible to avoid bleeding. Alternatively, back the image with a thin piece of

fondant and then place onto the cake.

• Cookies - Apply with buttercream, royal icing, or corn syrup thinned with a little water.

• Oreos - Brush corn syrup thinned with a little water onto the cookie then apply.

• Flat Hard Candy - Brush corn syrup thinned with a little water onto the lollipop or candy

then apply.

• Chocolate - Brush corn syrup thinned with a little water onto the cookie then apply. You can

also warm the chocolate for about 20 seconds with a hair dryer, and then apply.

Troubleshooting:

• If the frosting sheet is sticking to the backing, do not try to peel it off. You may cause it to tear.

• If the freezer trick doesn't work, try pulling the backing sheet over a sharp edge of a table or

counter a couple of times to pop the image off.

• If the humidity is too high, and it's still sticking to the backing, place in the oven at the lowest

temperature (100°F on mine) for 5-10 minutes to dry it out.
